Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Barbara Bradley. I’m a wife and mom of two. Our plus one is Scout, a spoiled shih tzu-chihuahua mix that identifies as chihuahua most days. My husband and I are native Texans. We moved to NC to start our family about 15 years ago. Gosh, I can’t believe it’s been that long.

My teenage son Nathan is teaching me about life. I’m so glad he knows everything because I need all the help I can get. My daughter Katie lives with special needs. She teaches all of us about how to live and how to love.

This is where the “about me” template calls for me inform my audience about my expertise and what the reader can learn from me so you’ll come back for more. While I admit I’m no expert in anything, I aim to inspire and I promise to keep it real. I will probably make you cry but I guarantee to make you laugh.

This blog is written like the diary I kept after Katie was diagnosed with a brain malformation and takes you through our journey that lead us to brain surgery. I hope you take away a few tears, some laughter and a bit of inspiration and hope.
